Susie DeFord is the author of the poetry and photography collection The Dogs of Brooklyn (c. 2007-2009). She writes a blog called Dog Poet Laureate and blogs for BOMB magazine. She runs her own dog walking, training, and pet sitting business, Susie's Pet Care, in Brooklyn, NY.
